Like I said my neck is on the reddish side. Bass fishing for me is more than just a hobby. It's a passion, no an obsesion, or maybe a religion. From slow fishing jigs and plastic worms to cranking in lipped as well as lipless crank baits. From ripping a spinner bait through the water to exploding topwater action... BASS FISHING IS LIFE!
Trout are food for the bass but they can be fun to catch also. River fishing for trout is by far my prefered method to catch these little feeder fish. Fly fishing is completely out of the question, I'm just not yuppie enought to fly fish.
Very fun to catch when you catch 'em, but terribly cold when they're not biting. The fishing regs on salmon fishing are, to say the least, confusing. I recomend becoming friends with a lawer to help you interpret them.
These prehistoric bottom feeders are incredibly fun to fish for. I recomend a guide for your first time at these monsters but be aware on the Columbia River there is a guide, who will go un-named, who is a complete drunken asshole. He will drink your beer, smoke your cigarettes, call you names and treat you like a child.
Other fish, what other fish? Oh you mean Walleye, Bluegill, Crappie, Catfish, Perch, Carp, Steelhead, Cod, etc. Why bother? Just kidding. I have some wisdon on these slimy, scaly critters as well.
